Thank Heaven for Little Girls (Printable)

Yep, I went and disappeared for a few months again. With the holidays, and handmade gifts, and some custom orders from friends for pretty crocheted things, and well, just life, it is hard to find the time to blog. Plus my computer is barely hanging on. If I do anything that uses a lot of memory, like using my Silhouette or PSE, or watching videos (you get the point) it overheats and shuts down. So I have been scared to finishing editing the baby shower pictures. Can't wait until we get our tax refund this year, we are spending it on an iMac.

So, since I haven't finished the pics, and I have had requests for some of the printables from the baby shower, I will share those instead. :)

I made this "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" print to fit in a tiny frame I bought at Michael's.

I resized it to fit 3 different size frames, so you don't have to do any of the work, just download, and print.

5x7   8x10   11x14

This print would be adorable in a little girls room (at least my sister thought so) or at a baby shower. But if your here then I'm sure you already have the perfect spot picked out for it. Hope you're having a fabulous new year so far.

♥ Kim

    1. Elizabeth,

I resized it to 4x6 for you. It has a narrower border around the sides (which is why I didn't include this size with the other downloads) but it will still look cute.

And here is the pdf: https://www.box.com/s/8u7dkzciwn089d1z9hzj.

Please check out my comment below if you have any issues with sizing during printing. Have a great day! :)

  4. Hi! Thank you so much for these awesome printables! Just a quick question, when I download the 5x7 option, it prints as an 8x10. Am I doing something wrong? I'd like to print the "Thank Heaven for little Girls" as a 5x7 file. Thank you!!

    1. Sorry you guys are having a hard time printing!! I downloaded the file myself, and it is sized to 5x7, so then I did several test prints from different programs, and I figured out what the problem is. First of all please don't print directly from box.com, for some reason they resize it to fit on a full portrait orientated 8.5x11 page. I checked a few other peoples printables (that also use box.com, and it did the same thing to theirs). Ughh!!

So, make sure to download the file. Then I'm not sure what operating system you use, and what program you are opening it in. I have a mac, and tried it in Photoshop CS5 (where I created it) and it worked perfectly. Then I opened it in Preview, and it wanted to print it big again, so I looked at the scale boxes when printing, and it was set to scale to fit page, and scaled to 154%, so I just changed to scale to 100%, and it fixed the problem, and printed perfectly.

Then I decided to also create a PDF of the printable, it's here: https://www.box.com/s/porug7ngonlebogts1ta. You still can't print directly from box.com, it makes this one smaller than a 5x7 (ughhh again!!!) but you can print directly from Preview or from Adobe Reader. Just make sure that whatever program you are using you print to "actual size" and/or that it is scaled to 100%. Do not fit it to page, even if it tells you it will clip part of the image, it won't. The only thing getting clipped of would be a white border, since the actual print is in the middle of the page.

I really hope this helps. Good luck guys!!! :):)

  5. Hi! I really love this printable! I found out I was having a little girl, saw this picture and fell in love. I was wondering if there was any way you could resize it for me? My frame for it is pretty tiny...its a 2x3 frame. I have tried to resize it but it just gets blurry. Thank you!

    1. Jessica, Thanks!! I just got home last night (I was out of town for the week). I resized it for you (it was super easy, since that was the original size I made it for my tiny frame!! I just had to make it a jpg file for sharing). I don't have your e-mail address to send it to you, so hopefully you come back and see this. You can download it here: https://www.box.com/s/ny53ak8v66ll5h0aa6sh
